Substitute for Bok Choy

Bok choy is an Asian vegetable that belongs to the cabbage family. This vegetable can either be eaten raw or mixed with sauces and soups to give them a unique and sweet fragrance. This vegetable is so nice and is used by chefs in most canteens or restaurants in Asian countries and a few places in Europe and America.

Bok choy doesn’t last long when not consumed on time, like 3-5 days. It has a good taste when eaten fresh. Although, if there is no bok choy, what can one use? That’s the main question and we would take a look at its substitutes below.

1. Swiss chard


This vegetable belongs to the Chenopodioideae family. It is low in calories and is full of nutrients containing Vitamins A, K, and also has important elements like Potassium and magnesium.
